Compliance Assistance Workshop - 1:00 PM

Dallas District Office – On October 19, 2023, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs Compliance Officer Armetta Morrison, provided two virtual compliance assistance presentations via WebEx to three attendees in the morning session and five attendees in the afternoon session from the contractor community. Compliance Officer Cecilia Gomez assisted as needed throughout the presentation and provided resourceful information to the attendees via the WebEx chat box. Office Management Assistant Charlotte Moore provided registration and workshop information for the attendees. Kevin Hutton, WebEx Support Specialist with OCIO/OSAM set up, monitored, and provided technical assistance for the events. The presentation covered “What to Expect in a Compliance Review.” It focused on the contractor’s obligations found under the regulations implementing EO 11246, VEVRAA, and Section 503. The presentation also focused on what to expect in the various stages of a compliance review. At the end of each presentation, the Compliance Officers held a question-and-answer period as well as provided OFCCP’s contact information to the contractors for future reference. Additionally, links to several of OFCCP’s online resources and materials were provided to contractors via the chat feature throughout each session. At the conclusion of both sessions, several contractors provided positive feedback to the Compliance Officers by thanking them for the presentations, and by conveying that the information shared was very helpful and informative.
