This workshop focused on the development of written Affirmative Action Programs for Section 503 and VEVRAA, which protects individuals with disabilities and Veterans. The objective was for the audience to gain a comprehensive understanding of AAP Requirements; Utilization goals and benchmarks; Self-identification invitation requirements; Outreach, recruitment and training initiatives; Data collection and analysis; Recordkeeping and retention requirements; Policy statement creation and dissemination; Reasonable accommodations and Preventing harassment.
