National Apprenticeship Week: Uplifting Economic Opportunities for America's Infrastructure

On November 16, 2023, the Pacific Region celebrated National Apprenticeship Week to uplift economic opportunities through America’s infrastructure. In partnership with Employment and Training Administration (ETA) – Office of Apprenticeship and Job Corps Centers, Women’s Bureau (WB), and an OFCCP representative from each region, the webinar highlighted training opportunities available through Job Corps, provided resources through apprenticeship, introduced the Women in Apprenticeship and Non-Traditional Occupations (WANTO) Grant, and elevated the Equity Module Toolkit. OFCCP regional representatives highlighted their outreach efforts around the 24 designated Mega Projects and invited participants to connect with OFCCP to bring awareness of the Mega Projects. This webinar presented the opportunity to connect more broadly with communities across the country and identified new stakeholders to foster relationships with.
