Phoenix Place-Based Team

Arizona locals were Cheryl Almquist (VETS), Elsie Darcy (WHD), and Tim Cox (OFCCP). The meeting recapped stakeholder engagement, based on who they touched base this last week. The focus of the past week’s engagement was local government programs. OASP primarily made contact with these agencies, along with ETA. OFCCP spoke on the Fresh Start event and suggested the Director of the State Apprenticeship Office in the AZ Department of Economic Security as someone who would be a great stakeholder.

OFCCP has an assignment to provide some information to make Acting Secretary Su’s visit a successful trip.
