Phoenix Place-Based Team Meeting

Description of Event
Weekly Phoenix Place-Based team supporting the CHIPS & Science Act activity in the Phoenix Metro area. The funding helps Intel and TSMC build two semiconductor plants and upgrade an existing one in the Phoenix metropolitan area. These projects are expected to bring thousands of high-paying jobs to the area, including manufacturing and construction positions. DOL has initiated a work group to support the creation of good-paying American jobs.

In attendance were members of the ASP, WB, ETA, ODEP, and OFCCP.
