This session, part of the "Xylemic Chechey'ew'xw" pre-apprenticeship initiative, aims to equip attendees with crucial knowledge about the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) regulations. Led by esteemed representatives from the United States Department of Labor, including Dr. Richard Dadzie, a labor economist with OFCCP’s Branch of Expert Services, Edward Cunningham from the Pacific Region Outreach Division, and Keysha Echevarria Silva, Investigator, Wage and Hour Division (WHD), this event will cover essential topics such as effective outreach strategies for underrepresented groups, insights into worker rights and protections, and compliance best practices.
