Arc of Volusia Event

On Jan 8. 2025, CI Redwan Al-Samara will educate The Arc of Volusia's management on how OFCCP can support their clientele. The Arc of Volusia helps place and coach individuals with disabilities in jobs with employers across Volusia County, many of whom are federal contractors and subcontractors. OFCCP will guide The Arc of Volusia's leadership on how to assist individuals with disabilities (IWDs) when they face adverse employment actions, such as denial of accommodations or unjust terminations. The purpose of this event is to equip their management with the knowledge needed to share this information with their coaches. OFCCP will provide guidance on the complaint process, how to file complaints, and how to identify potential adverse employment practices.
