I have requested that the name of the Leidos Function that completed an AAP compliance audit in June 2020 be updated on the National Pre-Award Registry, but the OFCCP Division of Program Operations has declined the request. Background: The scheduling letter for this particular function was distributed in March 2019, however the functional organization of Leidos changed dramatically between 2017 and 2019 and the function name listed on the scheduling letter was "Defense & Intelligence Group – Heritage,” which is a partial title that was pulled off the FAAP agreement signed in September 2017. During this time period Leidos was in the process of integrating the IS&GS division of Lockheed Martin that had been acquired in August 2016. Leidos organized the functional units to be the functional name (e.g. Health Group) followed by either "Heritage Leidos" or "Leidos Innovations" depending on which entity was the main contractor of programs in the function. Leidos Innovations was the company name used for the Lockheed Martin IS&GS acquisition during this 3 year transition period. In the scheduling letter the company name "Leidos" was left off the function title. Then, when the audit was closed in June 2020, it was listed in the Pre-Award Registry as "Defense & Intelligence Group - Heritage." Since there is no reference to Leidos in that company name, it does not appear when a search is performed on the National Pre-Award Registry. This will prove problematic when the Leidos Defense & Intelligence Group submits an RFP; the agency's CO will not find the name on the Registry when they use the company name Leidos in the search.
