I work as a non personal services contractor ISO National Guard Bureau. I am a disabled veteran and have requested reasonable accommodation for my disability through my contracting company. I am being told that the government is evaluating my reasonable accommodation request and will make a determination on my request. My request does require any modification of my current work location, etc so there is no hardship on the government or my company. Based on my research I believe there are several ethics violations ongoing with the handling of my RA request.
What are your goals for working with the Ombuds?
Gain information. I am prepared to file an OFCCP complaint but want to explore options.

I notified the HR manager at United Indians of All Tribes Foundation of a hostile work environment being created around me on 1/15/24 and HR has not responded to me (as of 2/5/24) or tried to make contact. HR has actively avoided the situation as well as myself and i am being forced to continue to work in different offices until "HR decides to handle it". HR has a consistent pattern of ignoring safety concerns as previously a staff member was almost stabbed (in November 2023 i believe) and HR did not respond for over a month to the incident and the staff member was forced to continue working with the client

I am an employee of federal contractor (Merck) and I have requested a disability workplace accommodation. I was previously employed at a subsidiary of Merck, MSD, as a contingent worker, and I was granted a workplace accommodation while working there. I have requested that MSD transfer all documentation of my prior workplace accommodation to Merck's disability administrator to help document the history of my disability. MSD has refused to comply with my request, and I am concerned that this will require me to re-document my disability starting with medical records. My question involves whether a federal contractor is required to have records portability.
What are your goals for working with the Ombuds?
I would like to gain clarity on records portability and whether compliance is required.

My concern as a sub contractor is that our grievances aren’t heard while on the job. I had an incident happen where my supervisor said what I feel was a racially charged joke about my son being a pet. I reached out to her supervisors and all they said was we will address the issue. I want to know what my rights are and is this lawsuit worthy or can someone step in to investigate this matter on my behalf.
What are your goals for working with the Ombuds?
I hope to get justice by way of my supervisor being terminated and or compensated for this atrocity. I have nobody speaking up for me in this matter and I don’t know what to do. My sub contractor seemed uninterested in the issue. I need OFCC to investigate my claims.
